Job Vacancy - Banchory Town Co-ordinator



Banchory is seeking to employ a Part Time Town Co-ordinator to develop and promote Banchory as a business and tourism centre. The position is ideal for anyone with experience wishing to work from home who relishes a challenge.


The candidate should have good knowledge of the tourism and tour guide industry and should ideally have a good knowledge of the local area.


Good communication and networking skills with initiative and an ability to be able to work independently are essential.


Days/hours of work: 4 days a week with flexible hours subject to funding. Some evening and week-ends may be required.


Salary: £ 27,000 FTE, 0.8 pro rata, per annum, plus pension and travel expenses.

Length of contract: initially 18 months from 1st April 2019 with possibility of extension if projects are developed and goals achieved.

The successful applicant will be responsible to and will report to Banchory & District Initiative
