Banchory makes an ideal base for exploring the North East of Scotland.  The local area is spoilt for castles and heritage walks, as well as the dramatic coastlines and the soaring mountains of the Cairngorms National Park which are within an hour’s drive. Banchory is only 30 minutes drive from Aberdeen, home to museums, famous gardens and a fine stretch of sandy beach.
