Distance from Banchory Town Centre: 0.5 miles Location Map
The Falls of Feugh are a short walk from the centre of Banchory. The footbridge is a popular spot for watching salmon leaping as they make their way upstream in the spawing season.
In the 1800's turnpike roads were constructed throughout Scotland and travellers were charged for their use of the roads. The toll houses were built with windows facing both ways along the road to catch passing travellers. There is a fine example of a former toll house at the Bridge of Feugh.
There is a free car park close by and The Falls of Feugh Tearooms are just a short walk across the bridge.
