How to get here

Banchory is 18 miles from the City of Aberdeen and only 30 minutes drive from Aberdeen Airport. 

There is a frequent bus service from Aberdeen bus station in the centre in Union Square (adjacent to the railway station) out to Banchory. You can also easily travel by bus from Banchory to Torphins, Aboyne, Kincardine o'Neil, Dinnet, Ballater and Braemar using the buses below. To get to the airport, the Jet 727 bus runs every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on the weekend from Aberdeen Bus Station (timetable below).

If you are coming by car from the south on the A90 why not take the B974 Cairn o'Mount road and enjoy some stunning scenery on the way (turn off is about an hour from Dundee)? Alternatively take the A93 via Glenshee and Braemar, the drive on the A93 from Braemar through Royal Deeside to Banchory takes about an hour.
